All the works here were created between 1976 and the present. Each one is painted on silk with mineral and botanical pigments. All of my training is in the traditional Tibetan Thangka style. All these works hopefully are antidotes to the negative aspects of our consciousness, may they bring peace and harmony to each one of us. I thank all my teachers who so generously gave their precious time to teach me.

Native Hawaiian Birds are so rare and delicate. I keep hoping they will make a comeback and visit our garden.

Hornbills in bodhi trees with a full moon.

I really like hornbills and hope to devote lots more time, both observing and painting them. Now that I am painting in Thailand this is possable.

This painting was painted as a pare with Moon Stance, but became separated because one was in an Art Maui show.

They were inspired by time I spent with Hornbills in the early 90's in Thailand. These are in private collections one in Hawaii, the other in mainland America.
