Known as Yang Chenmo ( great melodias sound) in Tibet, is the female Bodhisattva of Knowledge, Music and the Arts whose energy  reflects the divine intelligence and creativity within. Saraswati is the consort to the Bodhisattva Manjusri, Bodhisattva of Knowledge (Gyalwa Jambaya in Tibetan).

Sometimes aloso identified as the peaceful form of the the protector Paldan Lhamo, as well as connected with the White Tara.
